Lisa Donnelly

B.A. ~ Suffolk University
A.S. ~ Southern Arkansas University
Graduate Hours ~ Texas A&M-T

This new faculty member is no stranger to St. James. Lisa Donnelly is simply adding a new role as TEACHER to her role as St. James mom! She is putting her expertise in English and writing to use as the new Language/Arts teacher for 5th and 6th grades. Ms. Donnnelly earned a B.A. in English from Suffolk University in Boston, MA, and is close to finishing her Master’s degree in English at TAMU-T. In between THESE two degrees, Lisa earned an Associate of Science degree in nursing from SAU in Magnolia, Arkansas. Additionally, she has 18 hours of education courses, most of those in specific writing and literature skills with children. Lisa believes in the importance of life-long learning, and puts that belief into practice wherever she is. She feels St. James students should not only meet area standards, but always exceed them. Since that has traditionally been the goal of St. James Day School, I’m sure we all agree with her 100% and appreciate her efforts to meet that goal!
