MULTIPLICATION ROCKS!
Multiplication is very fun, actually it's one of my favorite subjects! It's not even hard! See, if the problem is easy like 3*2 ( that's three times two) all you would do would be 3+3 ( that's three plus three) which will always be 6. 3*2=6. NOTE: Any number ever times 2 is just that same number added onto itself. But if it's something just a little bit more complicated that you might want to try this method. 76*836= I bet you have no clue! O.K.What we do is multiply 6*6 which is 36. And so we put the 6 at the bottom and put the 3 over the 3 in 836. See? Now we multiply 3*6. Which is 18, but wait now we have to add, not multiply, the 3 and the 18 together which would be 21. So now we bring down the 1, and 2 goes over the 8. Now we multiply 6*8 which equals 48+2=50. And then we bring down both of the numbers. Now I hope you are writing all of this down!
Now we skip over the ones space into the tens place, so just put a little 0 in the ones place and write where usually you would write in the ones place in the tens and yatta, yatta, yatta. Now we multiply 7*6 which equals 42. So we bring down the 2 and put the 4 over the 3. Now we multiply the 7*3 which equals 21+4=25. So we bring down the five and put the 2 over the 8. Now we multiply the 7*8=56+2=58. And now we bring down both of the numbers. Now add the numbers at the bottom. Did you get it right? The answer is...
