WELCOME TO THE EXITING WORLD OF GLACIERS!

We all know the story of the Titanic. About how the bottom of a glacier scraped the side of the boat. After a while the boat hit the glacier, the boat started filling up with water. One side had more water than the other, so it broke into 2 parts, and the part with more water sank first, and the other part turned straight in the air and slowly went down. If we want to see it we only can see 2 parts of it and we have to dive under water to see it. More than 100,000 people boarded the ship and 1,522 people were lost, 98,478 survived. What a tragedy! If you want to hear more PLEASE read on. Besides the Titanic other ships have crashed in to glaciers. Glaciers are often found in Antactica, Greenland, Canada, and Asia. They get bigger by snow falling on them. Lots of people are litterbugs. They are called that because they drop trash into the ocean and when you see glacier with trash on it, that's because trash collects on the glacier and makes it dirty. People see glaciers and say " They're not that big" but if you look under water you can see a WHOLE LOT OF IT!!!! Did you know that glaciers move!! That's why you can see glaciers everywhere even in hot areas! You can still see them! If you want to learn more check on local science websites.

THANK YOU AND GOOD NIGHT!!!!
