St. James' Frst Grade is definitely
ARTSMART!
With the help of Ms. Gladys Keeton, Professor of Dance from Texas Women's University, and a TRAHC ArtSmart instructor, we have stood tall, shrunk small, walked and hopped, twirled, and made statues of ourselves!

Spelling Hints:
Monday: Write each word two times.
Tuesday: Have your child spell the words orally and use in a sentence.
Wednesday: Dictate the words and have your child write them. Then give them a clue to see if they can find the word. For example, if the word were high, you could ask them what the opposite of low is. This helps with word meaning.
Thursday: Dictate words, reminding them of the objectives for the week.
