Audrey Russell came to St. James from Houma, Louisana in 2004. Before joining the St. James family, she was Head of School at St. Matthew's Episcopal School in Houma, and previously Headmistress at the Episcopal Day School in Victoria, Texas. Mrs. Russell also served as Head of Lower School and Director of Curriculum and Instruction at St. Francis Episcopal Day School in Houston. Before moving into administration, Audrey was a classroom teacher in New Mexico for sixteen years.

Ms. Russell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, a Master of Arts in Elementary Education, and has completed graduate work to earn her Administration and Supervision Certification. Her speciality is early childhood education. She is an enthusiastic supporter of Episcopal education and is happy to be using her skills for St. James again this year.
